Please check and confirm the following Shared Folder Settings
[1] Please check the following settings within the device's configuration Web page
Network scanner select tool -> Configuration Web
< Server - Shared Folder>
Folder Path:
- Path: (Address Name)
(e.g.) \\ (Address Name) \ folder01 \ test
[2] Please check the following settings within the device's configuration Web page
< Server - Shared Folder>
Folder Path:
- Path: Change the setting of the (Address Name) to an (IP Address) * 1
(e.g.) \\ (IP Address) \ folder01 \ test
* 1: If the scanner works properly with an IP Address, the Address name can not be resolved.
If the Address name is required, please check Host Name, DNS Server and Wins Server Name settings.
If there are no issues with the settings listed above, please comfirm next [3] .

(1) Please check the following settings within the device's configuration Web page
Network scanner select tool -> Configuration Web
< Information - Scanner>
Scanner Status:
- Network: (# Code) * 1
* 1: In the following cases, there is a problem with network name resolution settings
- "# 343": name duplication of HotsName
- "# 344": WINS server nonresponsiveness
(2)Please check the following Network settings via the configuration Web Page
Network scanner select tool -> configuration Web
< Network - IP Configuration>
- HostName * 2
- DNS Server (Primary)
- DNS Server (Secondary)
- WINS Server (Primary)
- WINS Server (Secondary)
* 2: In case of error "# 343", Host Name must be changed
If there are no issues with the above settings, the following conditions should be investigated further.
You may need to consult your network administrator or server administrator to investigate the following
- DNS Server Down
- WINS Server Down
- Firewall
