LFV8 LFV50 LFV5
When using the Multi-Screen Setting with multiple screens, you need to input the same video feed to each display.
• LFV70 Series connection example
Setup: Four displays
Video output device: Computer
Daisy-chain connection using DIGITAL LINK terminals
Output from single computer to HDMI, DVI-D, or DisplayPort → Connect to HDMI terminal, DVI-D terminal, or Display Port terminal in response to input signal → Connect from DIGITAL LINK output of first display to DIGITAL LINK IN of second display → In the same manner, connect second to third display, and third to fourth display.
Configure display settings as follows:
First display: Set Input Selection to HDMI, DVI-D, or DisplayPort, depending on what equipment you are using.
"Initial settings" → Set "DIGITAL LINK OUT" to "HDMI", "DVI-D" or "DisplayPort" which is receiving input signal.
Second display onward: Set Input Selection to "DIGITAL LINK".
"Initial settings" → Set "DIGITAL LINK OUT" to "DIGITAL LINK".
• LFV8 Series connection example

Video output device: Computer
Daisy-chain connection method for multiple devices.
1). For DVI-D digital signal input
Connect the "DVI-I Output" connector of display 1 to the "DVI-D Input" connector of display 2.
2). For DisplayPort input
Connect the "DisplayPort Output" connector of display 1 to the " DisplayPort Input" connector of display 2.
3). For PC IN input (analog VGA input)
Connect the "DVI-I Output" connector of display 1 to the "PC IN" connector of display 2.
• LFV50/5 Series and LFV60/6 Series connection example

Different procedures are used for the LFV70 Series, LFV60/6 Series, LFV8 Series, and LFV50/5 Series.
• LFV70 Series and LFV60/6 Series setup example
Setup: Four displays (two across and two down)
Remote control SETUP button → On Initial Settings menu, page 1 of 2, select "Multi-Screen Setting" → Set "Multi-Screen Setting" to ON → Set "Horizontal Magnification Rate" to 2 → Set "Vertical Magnification Rate" to 2 → Freely set horizontal / vertical joint locations → Set "Magnification Positions" (set upper left display to "A1," upper right display to "A2," lower left display to "B1," lower right display to "B2")
* Multi-screen display can be set for a maximum of 100 displays ("Horizontal Magnification Rate" 10, "Vertical Magnification Rate" 10).
• LFV8 Series setup example
Setup: Four displays (two across and two down)
Set Remote Control "MENU" → "Tile" → "Enable" to ON → Set "H Monitor" to 2 → Set "V Monitor" to 2 → Set "Position" (Set upper left display to "1," upper right display to "2," lower left display to "3," and lower right display to "4") → Set "Compensate Frame"
* The tile setting can be made for a maximum of 100 displays (up to 10 displays horizontally, and up to 10 displays vertically). However, when a 4K signal is input, this setting can be made for a maximum of 25 displays (up to 5 displays horizontally, and up to 5 displays vertically).
• LFV50/5 Series setup example
Setup: Four displays (two across and two down)
Remote control MENU button → On Advanced Settings 2 menu, select "TILING" → Set "H MONITORS" to 2 → Set "V MONITORS" to 2 → Set "POSITION" (set upper left display to "1," upper right display to "2," lower left display to "3," lower right display to "4") → When settings take joints into account, set "FRAME COMP." to ON → Set "ENABLE" to ON
* Tiling can be set for a maximum of 25 displays (5 "H MONITORS, 5 "V MONITORS")
Q3 What is the screw diameter of the holes for wall-mounting on the back of the display?
LFV70 LFV60 LFV6
LFV8 LFV50 LFV5
Q4 Can the setup hardware (TY-VK55LV2, TY-VK49LV2, or TY-VK47LV1) be set vertically?
LFV70 LFV60 LFV6
LFV8 LFV50 LFV5
No, it cannot.
Q5 When using the Multi-Screen Setting, how far apart should the displays be spaced?
LFV70 LFV60 LFV6
LFV8 LFV50 LFV5
Please space the displays 0.5 mm apart.
Q6 When using the Multi-Screen Setting with multiple displays, how much space does there need to be around the displays?
LFV70 LFV60 LFV6
LFV8 LFV50 LFV5
Leave at least 100 mm of space above, below, and to the left and right, and at least 150 mm behind the displays.
Q7 When I turn the power on for multiple displays, one or more of the displays does not start up.
LFV70 LFV60 LFV6
LFV8 LFV50 LFV5
In some cases, when powering multiple displays simultaneously, one or more of the displays does not start up because of insufficient power supply.
To address this, use the "Power on Screen Delay" (for the LFV8 Series or LFV50/5 Series, "Power on Delay") function to set the timing of power supply delivery to each display separately.
• Configuring settings with the LFV70 Series or LFV60/6 Series
Remote control SETUP button → On Initial Settings menu, page 1 of 2, select "Power ON Operation: Delay" and set to "Auto" or freely set delay timing.
* When set to "Auto," the delay timing is determined automatically. It is determined by multiplying the ID number set as displayID by 0.3 seconds.
Ex.: When displayID is set to 3: 0.9 seconds
When displayID is set to 10: 3 seconds
• Configuring settings with the LFV8 Series
Set Remote Control "MENU" → "Normal Setting" → "Power ON Delay" to the desired delay time.
• Configuring settings with the LFV50/5 Series
Remote control MENU button → On Advanced Settings 2 menu, select "Power on Delay" and freely set delay timing.
Q8 When using the Multi-Screen Setting with multiple displays, what should the surrounding temperature be?

Ventilate the area so that air can flow and the temperature in the periphery of equipment does not rise above 40°C.
Q9 What is the maximum number of displays in a daisy-chain connection?
LFV70 LFV60 LFV6
LFV8 LFV50 LFV5
The setting method for the LFV8 Series is different from that of the LFV70 Series, LFV60/6 Series, and LFV50/5 Series.
• LFV8 Series
• For DisplayPort connection
HDCP: Up to 8 displays, Non-HDCP: Up to 25 displays
• For DVI-D, VGA connection
HDCP: Up to 8 displays, Non-HDCP: Up to 10 displays
* The number of connectable displays may be limited depending on the cables, signals, and the devices that are used.
• LFV70 Series, LFV60/6 Series, and LFV50/5 Series
Up to 10 displays can be connected, but the number of displays that will function properly in a daisy-chain connection may be smaller depending on the devices used.
With an HDCP signal input, the maximum number is eight.
However, in practice the maximum number of displays varies depending on devices used, etc.
Q10 When displaying a single picture large, on a two-screen multi-display (either two across or two down), how is the picture displayed?
LFV70 LFV60 LFV6
LFV8 LFV50 LFV5
With two displays side by side the picture is stretched horizontally, and with two displays, one on top of the other, the picture is stretched vertically.
If you are planning to display the picture in this fashion, it is necessary to prepare content that fits the screen aspect.
Q11 I am trying to control in a network environment using a 10BASE-T network hub, but cannot achieve transmission. LFV70
The LFV Series with a DIGITAL LINK / LAN shared terminal installed is not compatible with 10BASE-T.
Please use a 100BASE-TX network environment for transmission.
*Connection via a network hub is not possible if you are operating in DIGITAL LINK mode.
