Boris Yeltsin Presidential Center, the first presidential center in Russia,
opened in Yekaterinburg, where President Yeltsin’s political career began. The center is a unique cultural and social institution, including a museum of the first president of the Russian Federation, an educational center and library, a children’s center, an event area and a conference hall.
In the atrium zone, the biggest space in the center for mass events such as ceremonial events, a giant video installation has been designed to attract visitors’attention. -

In the atrium zone, a large screen is curved along a wall surface, reaching 67 meters in length and 9.2 meters in height. To create the world’s largest stationary projection diorama, 30 Panasonic PT-DS20K2/DS20K projectors were installed.
The use of Panasonic PT-DS20K2/DS20K 3-Chip DLP? projectors ensured high brightness and high picture quality for this giant, unique installation.
Their compact, lightweight body has a great advantage for installation. While installing such a large number of high-end projectors needs considerable space, the PT-DS20K2/DS20K projectors can be mounted just on the upper border of the second floor on the outer atrium radius in 6 groups of 5 units each. -

Furthermore, the Panasonic Auto Screen Adjustment Upgrade Kit ET-CUK10 is used to seamlessly connect images. Each group projects an image in a single picture 12.6 x 9.2 meters large and images from the neighboring projector groups are overlaid for half a meter to the left and right of the edge.
The ET-CUK10 helps to provide a uniform image of basic parts and overlay points through an externally connected camera and will eventually minimize set-up time and costs. -

On November 25th in 2015, the museum for a tribute to the memory of the first president was unveiled in the former leader’s home city and President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev attended the opening ceremony.
Panasonic’s flagship projectors produce magnificent beauty on the atrium facade and add vividness to this historic project.
