The PT-LMZ460 and PT-LMW460 have different resolutions. The higher the resolution, the finer the projection quality. The PT-LMZ460 has WUXGA resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels). The PT-LMW460 has WXGA resolution (1280 x 800 pixels).

The light sources are different. The PT-LMZ460 Series has a laser diode light source. The PT-VW360 Series has a lamp light source. Laser light sources have a longer lifespan compared to lamp light sources, with a gradual decrease in brightness over time, maintaining image quality and brightness for an extended period. Additionally, maintenance is simplified since no lamp replacement is needed, significantly reducing running costs.

No setting is required. When a cable is connected to the AUDIO OUT terminal, audio will automatically output from this terminal. During this time, no sound will be emitted from the built-in speaker.

It is a feature that allows you to reduce the image size and display it within the screen when you need to project from a position farther than usual due to installation conditions.

Please follow these guidelines when cleaning the air filter:

1. Soak the air filter in clean or lukewarm water and gently rinse.

We recommend having your dealer inspect and clean your projector and replace the laser light source after approximately 20,000 hours of use. While it is possible to continue using the projector after this time without replacing the light source, light output at about 20,000 hours will have decreased to approximately 50 % of its original level.

The value of 20,000 hours is the estimated time at which your projector’s brightness will decrease to approximately 50% of its original level (measured at the time of shipment), under specific operating modes, altitude ranges, and environmental conditions. We also recommend you have your servicing agent clean the projector periodically.

If the <ON (G) / STANDBY (R)> power indicator is flashing red periodically, it indicates that the projector is in standby mode. Press the power button, and the projector will begin projection. The flashing cycle may vary depending on the internal settings of the device. For more information, please refer to the Operating Instructions here.

Please check if any of the following apply:

• If a cable is connected to the projector’s <AUDIO OUT> terminal, sound will not play through the built-in speakers.
• Is the volume set to “0”? Adjust it using the <VOL+> button on the remote.
• Is the sound muted? Press the mute button on the remote control.
• Are the audio input settings configured correctly? Check [PROJECTOR SETUP] → [AUDIO SETTING] via the main menu.

Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. retains essential service parts for eight years after production has been discontinued, so it is possible to maintain performance during this period. The laser light source has an estimated lifespan of 20,000 hours, after which brightness is expected to reduce by approximately half.

If the <LIGHT> light source indicator blinks red once, one of the light source elements may have failed. Please unplug the power cord from the outlet, then plug it back in and turn the power on again. If the <LIGHT> light source indicator continues to blink red once after taking this action, turn off the power, unplug the power cord, and contact your point of purchase for repair.

If the <LIGHT> light source indicator is blinking red twice, the phosphor wheel may have failed, causing the light source to turn off or prevent it from functioning. Please unplug the power cord from the outlet, then plug it back in and turn the power on again. If the <LIGHT> light source indicator continues to blink red twice after taking this action, turn off the power, unplug the power cord, and contact your point of purchase for repair.

If the <LIGHT> light source indicator is blinking red three times, the light source may not be functioning, or it has turned off during use. Please unplug the power cord from the outlet, then plug it back in and turn the power on again. If the <LIGHT> light source indicator continues to blink red three times after taking this action, turn off the power, unplug the power cord, and contact your point of purchase for repair.

If the <TEMP> temperature indicator is blinking red three times, the air filter may be clogged, the internal temperature of the unit is too high, or the projector is in standby mode.

• Check if the air intake/exhaust vents are blocked, and if so, remove any obstructions.
• Verify that the device is being used within the 0–45°C temperature range specified in the Operating Instructions.
• Check if the air filter unit is dirty and if so, clean or replace the air filter unit.
• Do not use the device at altitudes above 2,700 meters.

If the <TEMP> temperature indicator continues to blink red after taking these actions, please contact your point of purchase for repair. If the <TEMP> temperature indicator is blinking red twice, there may be an issue with the light source fan rotation, causing excessive internal temperature, or another detected abnormality preventing the projector from powering on.
