- * The PT-EZ770ZL/EW730ZL/EX800ZL delivers the same performance as the PT-EZ770Z/EW730Z/EX800, but comes without a lens.
*1 When the STANDBY MODE is set to ECO, network functions such as power on over the LAN will not operate. Also, only certain commands can be received for external control using the serial terminal.
*2 This is the maximum value when the lamp is turned on for 2 hours and off for 0.25 hours. If the lamp is turned on more times or kept on for a long time, the lamp replacement cycle will shorten. The usage environment affects the duration of the lamp.
*3 Measurement, measuring conditions, and method of notation all comply with ISO 21118 international standards. Value is the average of all products when shipped.
*4 Measurement, measuring conditions, and method of notation all comply with American National Standards Institute standards. Value is the average of all products when shipped.
*5 Input signals that exceed the native resolution will be converted to the native resolution.
*6 The axis shift function cannot be used with the ET-ELW21.
*7 With the supplied lens. Value differs when the correction for both directions is operated.
*8 The usage environment affects the duration of the filter.
*9 With legs at shortest position.
*10 Average value. May differ depending on models.
*11 The operating temperature range is 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F) when used at altitudes between from 1,400 m to 2,700 m (4,593 ft to 8,858 ft) above sea level. Also, if the ambient temperature exceeds 40 °C (104 °F) (35 °C (95 °F) at high altitude), the LAMP POWER may be automatically switch to Eco 2 to in oeder to protect the projector.
*12 Power cords available (x2) for the UK and Asia only.
- NOTES ON USE
- 1. Do not install the projector in locations that are subject to excessive water, humidity, steam, or oily smoke. Doing so may result in fire, malfunction, or electric shock.
- 2. The projector uses a high-voltage mercury lamp that contains high internal pressure. This lamp may break, emitting a loud sound, or fail to illuminate, due to impact or extended use.
- 3. The projector uses of high-wattage lamp that becomes very hot during operation. Please observe the following precautions:
• Never place objects on top of the projector while it is in operation.
• Make sure there is an unobstructed space of 1,000 mm (39-3/8 in) or more around the projector's exhaust openings.
• Do not stack projector units directly on top of one another for the purpose of multiple (stacked) projection. When stacking projector units, be sure to provide the amount of space indicated between them. These space requirements also apply to installation where only one projector unit is operating at one time and the other unit is used as a backup.
• If the projector is placed in a box or enclosure, the temperature of the air surrounding the projector must match the operating temperature listed in the specifications table during use. Also, make sure the projector’s intake and exhaust openings are not blocked. Ensure there is sufficient ventilation to prevent hot air from the exhaust openings being recirculated into the intake opening. - 4. The lamp replacement cycle duration becomes shorter if the projector is operated repeatedly for short periods.
• The lamp replacement cycle varies greatly depending on individual lamp characteristics and usage conditions.
• The brightness of the lamp will gradually decrease with use.
• The usage environment affects the lamp replacement cycle. - 5. Due to natural characteristics of lamps, screen brightness may fluctuate. This is not an indication of faulty lamp performance.
