Children’s Season at the Singapore Art Museum was launched as an educational platform aimed at inspiring and stimulating young minds through contemporary art. The exhibits, held in "SAM at 8Q," an extension of the Singapore Art Museum, featured imaginative and interactive works created by both local and international artists.

Three Panasonic PT-D6000 projectors were used for the "Funky Forest" interactive contemporary art exhibit to engage and entertain the school children.

The projection system for the Funky Forest

"Funky Forest" is an interactive ecosystem where school children can influence and manage a digital oasis.
The trees are created with the motion of bodies, and streams of water flowing on the floor can be diverted with rocks and logs to make the different parts of the forest grow. If a tree does not receive enough water, it withers away, but by pressing their body into the forest children can create new trees again.
The health of the trees contributes to the overall health of the forest and the types of creatures that inhabit it.
